Maria: a woman of faith

Through it all she has followed the Lord, trusted in Him and has seen so many miracles in her children and her own marriage. (They are all healthy and alive). She is a woman whose faith continues to stand strong through it all.

On October 20th, 2018, she had to rush James, her husband, to the emergency room as he was suffering a massive heart attack. Her husband would then be in the ICU for the next 10 days as he had to endure a triple bypass. Fast forward a year after, and James had to get another minor surgery on his heart. He is alive and well today, praise the Lord. It was in those times that she quietly struggled as she had to remain strong to care for her husband and her children. She quotes,"that's what we do, as mothers, we take care of everyone, but inside you just want to feel alive again."

We were honored to do this special shoot for her and her family. To not only make her feel special and beautiful but to capture the joy their family has because of Gods faithfulness.

As a lot of people knows, Maria is also an amazing singer and serves as worship leader at their local church and various ministries where she and James are being used by the Lord.

Anaiah, Maria’s daughter, whom the doctors said will never survive in pregnancy. Now Anaiah is 6 years old, growing up to be a very strong and independent girl who just has the same spirit like Maria.
